Podgorica, Montenegro (12 December 2014) — Prime Minister Milo Đukanović hosted earlier today President of the Upper House of the Austrian Parliament Ana Blatnik.
Having in mind the Austrian continued support for Montenegro’s efforts in pursuing its European and Euro-Atlantic policy goals, Prime Minister Đukanović highlighted that the visit of President Blatnik reaffirms excellent bilateral relations between Montenegro and Austria and provides incentives for boosting joint cooperation. In that regard, PM Đukanović commended the Austrian intensive engagement in supporting the Western Balkans region.
The two officials agreed that EU and NATO integration processes are the best framework for the stability and prosperity of the entire region. They also concluded that the economic cooperation between the two countries should be strengthened.
