On Friday, August 1st , 2014, the first exhibition ‘Coexistence – the new Adriatic Koine’ opened in Tirana as part of the ‘ArTVision-a.live.art.channel.’ project, implemented from the Adriatic IPA Programme funds.
The exhibition, set in an interesting ambiance of the building Pyramid, one of the iconic buildings from the period of Enver Hoxha, runs from August 1st to 24th, 2014.
Pino Pascali Museum of Contemporary Art from Bari designed and produced this exhibition in collaboration with a team of curators, with the support of partner institutions from the countries participating in the project. The show features recent productions of artists from Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, and Italian Regions Veneto and Puglia, focusing on artistic techniques such as video-art, and other forms in the domain of contemporary artistic expression.
Following the exhibition in Tirana, four new versions of the same show were planned to be held in Cetinje, Rijeka, Venice and in Bari.
Montenegrin artists participating in this exhibition are: Irena Lagator Pejović, Igor Rakčević, Jelena Tomašević, Jovana Vujanović, and Natalija Vujošević.
The Ministry of Culture of Montenegro is one of the partners in the ArTVision project, in which, from Montenegro, the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of Cetinje participates as the technical partner, and Radio Television of Montenegro as the associate partner. The project leader is the Italian Region of Puglia, with the partners: from Italy – Pino Pascali Museum of Contemporary Art, Veneto Region, and the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice; from Croatia – Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the television channel RI of Rijeka; from Albania – Ministry of Culture, and the University of Arts of Tirana. Associate partners of the project are Euronews from France, Artribune and Servizi-Italiani from Italy, and RTV Now News from Albania.
