Vilnius, Lithuania (5 September 2014) – Lithuania stays credible partner of Montenegro in pursuing its foreign – policy priorities and cooperation between these two states will be improved at all levels, DPM and Minister of Justice Duško Marković stressed during his official visit to the Republic of Lithuania.
DPM Marković and his Lithuanian counterpart Juozas Bernatonis signed the Agreement on cooperation between the two Ministries of Justice related to the exchange of experiences and practise in negotiation chapters 23 and 24.
During his visit, DPM Marković also met with Lithanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius for talks on cooperation between the two states, particularly referring to strengthening of the communication at the political and economic level.
DPM Marković informed his interlocutors about current activities and results achieved in the field of justice reform process, fight against corruption and organised crime, promotion and respect for human rights, adding that these priorities are crucial for European and Euro-Atlantic accession process.
