Washington, the USA (25 March 2017) — Minister of Foreign Affairs Srđan Darmanović met earlier today with the US National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster for talks on Montenegro’s NATO bid.

US National Security Adviser McMaster voiced the US administration’s full support to Montenegro’s membership in NATO, stressing that it will be additionally emphasised by ratifying Protocol on the country’s membership in the Alliance the following week.

Having in mind the forthcoming partnership within the NATO, the two officials exchanged views on security and other challenges both at regional and international levels.

Minister Darmanović also met with Senior Vice President for Europe at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Heather Conley and various representatives of the Heritage Foundation.
