    Podgorica, Montenegro (12 August 2016) – The Government of Montenegro brought decision today, based on the obtained consent of the majority of members of the Government, regarding the review of the conditions for the conclusion of the Joint-stock agreement between the State of Montenegro and A2A S.p.A, submitted by the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister for economic policy and financial system.

    It was concluded that the Government became familiar with the conditions for the signing of the Joint-stock agreement between the State of Montenegro and A2A S.p.A, including Annex 2 – List of key managers, and that the Government stated that all the actions required by the Agreement are accomplished, as well as the actions that must be taken before the signing date of the agreement, bearing in mind that the authorities of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro adopted the appropriate decisions and appointments, and that the present agreement is accepted by the Parliament of Montenegro, which created conditions for the signing of the agreement in accordance with item 4 of the Government’s Resolution No. 08-160 as of 11 July 2016.

    The Government, through item 4 of the aforementioned Conclusion, authorised the Minister of Economy Vladimir Kavarić to sign the agreement on behalf of the Government.
