    Podgorica, Montenegro (22 April 2016) — Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Đukanović received a letter from his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he welcomed the introduction of direct flights in the year of marking the first decade of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.

    PM Netanyahu congratulates the Government and people of Montenegro on the upcoming tenth anniversary of restoring independence. He also welcomed the country’s prospective accession to NATO, voicing confidence that it will contribute to the stability of both Montenegro and the region.

    In his letter, Prime Minister Netanyahu stresses that Israel highly appreciates its ties with Montenegro and that it is willing to expand cooperatio in all areas of common interest, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s letter reads.
