    On the margins of the meeting of Defense Ministers of the US-Adriatic Charter (A-5), held today in Ohrid, Minister Predrag Bošković met with Navy Captain Gorazd Bartol, head of the NATO Liaison Office in Skopje. On this occasion, Minister Bošković expressed satisfaction with the support provided by the NATO office to Macedonian institutions in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration.     On the margins of the meeting of Defense Ministers of the US-Adriatic Charter (A-5), held today in Ohrid, Minister Predrag Bošković met with Navy Captain Gorazd Bartol, head of the NATO Liaison Office in Skopje.

    On this occasion, Minister Bošković expressed satisfaction with the support provided by the NATO office to Macedonian institutions in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration. Minister Bošković and Navy Captain Bartol exchanged views on the situation in the region and agreed that integration and continuous regional cooperation are crucial for preserving stability in the Western Balkans.

    Bošković stressed that Montenegro will advocate that the doors of the Alliance remain open to all countries that show their reform results, and reiterated that Macedonia can count on the full support of the Government of Montenegro.

    Minister Bošković also met with Minister of Kosovo Security Forces Rrustem Berisha. The ministers discussed the current cooperation between Montenegro and Kosovo in the area of ​​security, as well as on the current security challenges facing the Western Balkans region,

    Bošković and Berisha agreed that there is room for improvement of bilateral cooperation between Montenegro and Kosovo in the area of ​​security, pointing out that improving the cooperation of the countries of the region contributes to preserving a favorable security environment in this part of Europe.

    Minister Bošković stressed that Montenegro, as a NATO member, will continue to promote the democratic values ​​of the North Atlantic Community, as well as to support all neighbouring countries that are oriented towards membership in the Euro-Atlantic family. Minister Berisha thanked Montenegro for supporting the open door policy, pointing to the invaluable importance of Montenegro’s readiness to share its experiences from the Euro-Atlantic process with countries that have opted for a policy of peace and prosperity.
