Montenegro’s Government wins confidence vote in Parliament, 42 MPs in favour, 20 opposed

    Podgorica, Montenegro (27 January 2016) – The Montenegrin Government won earlier this evening the confidence vote at the Parliament’s first extraordinary session in 2016, having been convened at the request of the Government, which, in line with Article 106 of the Constitution of Montenegro, had requested a parliament session in order to set the confidence issue.

    Forty-two MPs voted in favour of Prime Minister Milo Đukanović’s Cabinet, whereas 20 MPs opposed.
