Podgorica, Montenegro (22 March 2017) — Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković congratulated on behalf of the Government and on his own behalf his Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras on 25 May – Independence Day of the Hellenic Republic.

“Let me use this opportunity to express my particular satisfaction over the fact that the traditionally good relations between Montenegro and Greece, based primarily on common values and cultural and historical specifics of the Mediterranean and the Balkan Peninsula, represent a good basis for further improvement of bilateral and multilateral cooperation

In this respect, I want to thank you for the wholehearted support of Greece on our path towards achieving our foreign policy priorities – membership in the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance,” Prime Minister Duško Marković notes in his congratulatory message to Alexis Tsipras.
