    Podgorica, Montenegro (27 September 2017) — Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković met today with the leadership of the Municipality of Rožaje – the Mayor Ejup Nurković and the Speaker of the Municipal Parliament Husein Kurtagić.

    Congratulating the citizens of Rožaje on the Municipal Day, the Prime Minister said that one of the Government’s priorities is development of the Northern region as the largest resource of Montenegro. He reiterated the Government’s willingness to work with local governments on specific projects that contribute to improving the business environment, increasing employment and raising the standards and quality of life of citizens.

    Informing the Prime Minister about the current situation in Rožaje, Municipality’s management presented several concrete ideas aimed at making the best use of resources and overcoming existing challenges. Among other things, the Mayor of Rožaje stated that the opening of the business zone could be a significant impetus for attracting investments.

    The meeting concluded that the Government and line ministries, together with the leadership of Rožaje, should find the best solutions for concrete business ideas and overcoming existing challenges in the coming period.

    The meeting was also attended by the Finance Secretary of the Municipality of Rožaje Armin Mujević.
