In the past eight years, within the project “Pink Panthers”, 60 people from Montenegro who were part of the group of bandits were identified, said the police director Slavko Stojanovic in Budva at the opening of the ninth meeting of the Operational working group on the subject of the project – “Pink Panthers”.
He reminded that the project “Pink Panther” began in 2007 as a response of the Interpol to the increasing number of robberies a jewelry stores in the world.
Stojanovic said that over 200 bandits were arrested around the world thanks to this project. He said that a significant contribution to the project was also given by the Montenegrin police.
