8.4 million Euros for joint projects

Montenegro and Kosovo have signed today the Agreement on partnership and cross-border cooperation in the framework of the project “IPA 2014-2020”, according to which the 18 municipalities located in the border zone will be allocated 8.4 million euros.

At the signing of the agreement between the Montenegrin Minister for European Affairs Aleksandar Andrija Pejovic and the Kosovo Ambassador to Podgorica Skender Durmišija, it was announced that the funds will contribute to the economic development of municipalities in the border zone, as well as to the better use of natural resources from both sides.

Pejovic said that the projects sum of 8.4 million euros is a grant, a gift from Brussels.
