During the weekend Demos, URA and the SDP are supposed to hold party meetings at which they will decide on the agreement for free and fair elections, which the prime minister Milo Djukanovic previously offered to them.
“Conditions for the parties to present their positions and approve signing the agreement will probably be created on the weekend”, CdM’s source form the opposition stated.
According to information obtained by this news portal, none of the parties will organise either individual nor joint press conferences on Saturday or Sunday. The public will supposedly be informed about everything during the signing of the agreement.
“The plan is to sign the agreement most probably on Monday. Before that, it is clear to everyone what needs to happen”, CdM’s source said, referring to the resignation of the director of the public broadcaster RTCG, Radojka Rutovic.
It is not known when the next RTCG Council’s session will be held, although the council’s members would be among the first to find out about upcoming changes in RTCG.
“Some members are not currently here, but our secretary general is keeping them updated. As far as I know, the session is to be held no later than ten days”, the president of the RTCG Council Ivan Mitrovic told CdM.
In any case, at the next session, council’s members will find out what the director general Rade Vojvodic’s plan includes. Vojvodic announced that a new work concept of RTCG was prepared, but he did not give any further details. It is known that the RTCG Council asked him to urgently address the organisational and staff issues in order to improve the quality of RTCG’s news programmes.
According to the Law on Public Broadcasting Services of Montenegro, director of the public broadcaster can be resolved in a few cases, but there is also a possibility of a resignation.
