As the election date 16 October is approaching, it becomes a bit clearer what the voters are offered.
The president of the Croatian Civic Initiative (HGI), Marija Vucinovic, confirmed for CDM that the Albanian Alternative (AA) offered the party to form a coalition.
“There is AA’s offer. But, HGI decision-making bodies will decide whether we will accept this coalition or not”, Vucinovic briefly told CDM.
On the other hand, AA leader Nik Djelosaj was not available for comment, but he announced yesterday that his party would cooperate with everyone apart from crooks and criminals.
While waiting for the decision of this coalition, for the time being it is known for sure that the Socialist People’s Party (SNP), Demos and URA Civic Movement will run in the elections together.
Democratic Front (DF), the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the Social Democrats (SD), the Democrats and the Bosniak Party (BS) will run independently.
Currently, voters are waiting for the DPS’s decision, although the party leader Milo Djukanovic yesterday announced that it would likely run independently too. The Positive Montenegro (PCG) is expected to announce its decision by the end of the week.
