Almost 4,000 registered tourists in Bar, visitors from a cruise ship arrived

A new cruise ship MS Thomson Celebration of the British cruising company Thomson Cruises arrived in the Port of Adria at 8am today. In cooperation with Bar-based agency Allegra, 1,225 passengers of the cruise ship visited Bar, the old own of Bar, the old olive tree, which was noticeable by the crowds on the boardwalk. Currently there are about 3,900 registered guests staying in the municipality of Bar, and the tourism organisation marked the arrival of the first cruise ships by a festive welcome.

The guests from the cruise ship were welcomed by folklore ensemble and catering including traditional Montenegrin fritters and brandy, while tasting and sale of local products and souvenirs was organised along the King Nikola’s boardwalk.

Tourist information offices in Bar have been open in Topolica, Stari Bar, Virpazar, Sutomore and bus station.

In those offices, tourists can get information about the tourism offer of the municipality, as well as advertising and promotional material, such as a city map, maps of Montenegro, catalogues and posters.
