Amendments to the PIO without debate

The MPs will not discuss amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, after a proposal from the Socialist People’s Party (SNP) was not included on the agenda.

Proposal of SNP to benefits calculated on the basis of 15 years in which the worker had the highest earnings, was supported by 36 of the necessary 41 MPs. Three were against and 36 abstained.

SNP leader Srdjan Milic said that such a decision “publicly manifest cowardice of individuals who run away from debate.”

Milic said that, because of the lies spoken in the past, he wanted the public to know that it is less than two million euros per annum, not 40 million Euros.
