The Podgorica High Court continued trial on the attempted terrorism on the parliamentary elections day in October 2016.

The phones from the evidence used by witness associate Sasa Sindjelic and accused Bratislav Dikic who were sealed since April were turned on in the courtroom, and found to have 94% and 76% of the battery. The Defense suspected that it was manipulation, and that someone had used the phones in the meantime. Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoje Katnic said that no one from the Prosecutor’s Office manipulated the phones and expressed hope that neither the defense did so with someone from the court helping them. Expert Predrag Boljevic said that the level of battery discharge was possible and expected. Lawyers advocated that Boljevic’s claims were impossible, and said the court should order the investigation.
