The Government of Montenegro invested over €50m in educational institutions infrastructure, said education minister Predrag Boskovic. He also pointed out the support of the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA).
Boskovic has met the newly appointed coordinator of TIKA, Ahmet Altun, today. The two officials have discussed current projects implemented by the agency, as well as the continuation of cooperation particularly in the area of improving work quality in educational institutions.
He expressed satisfaction with the excellent cooperation between the ministry and TIKA, which recognised the importance of investing in the education system.
He pointed out that TIKA’s support will largely contribute to improving working conditions in educational institutions in the coming period.
Altun thanked Boskovic for their cooperation, pointing out that the agency will continue to support the education ministry to improve the educational system in Montenegro.
They also discussed implementing the pilot project of introducing the Turkish language in the education system.
