Establishing of Regional office for youth of Western Balkan is an important step forward in connecting young people of this area, said Minister of Education Predrag Bošković, who participated in Youth Forum of Western Balkan in Paris.
Main themes were reconciliation and cooperation of young people of Western Balkan, and Regional office was presented.
“Young people should look to future, not past”, Bošković said, adding that the youth will carry on new Balkan values such as peace and stability.
He invited young people to actively participate in youth matters and contribute to building better relationships among neighbours.
Minister of Urbanism, Sport and Youth of France Patrick Kanner also took part in the Forum, as well as Minister of Youth and Social Welfare of Albania Blendi Klosi, Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Adil Osmanović, Minister of Youth and Sport of Serbia Vanja Udovičić, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport of Kosovo Kujtim Šalja and director of Agency for Youth and Sport of Macedonia Marjan Spaseski.
Youth Forum is being held within Paris Balkan Summit of 2016, organized in order to help and support countries of Western Balkan in their EU integration by strengthening economic cooperation and setting firm foundations for better connections and sustainable growth in the whole region.
