In response to the decision of the Ministerial Council on sending NATO invitation to Montenegro, Milan Knezevic from Democratic People’s Party (DPP), will propose establishing of an anti-NATO coalition.
According to daily ‘Pobjeda’ the action plan on forming an anti-NATO coalition, comprising all stages of formation of the alliance, was already agreed at the meeting of the Podgorica DPP Board and will soon be offered to “all interested parties”.
According to the action plan, prepared by DPP, beside Milan Knezevic Party, alliance against NATO will include the New Serbian Democracy. They will also invite NGOs of Marko Milacic and Gojko Raicevic, the Socialist People’s Party, Demos of Miodrag Lekic and Aleksa Becic.
Establishing the anti-NATO coalition was announced at the meeting of a part of the opposition leaders with Amfilohije, the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, held in September. The initiative was then supported at the meeting that the President of DPP had with representatives of Russia’s executive and parliamentary authorities in Moscow on 26 November.
