Department of Hydro Meteorological and Seismology of Montenegro today announced Meteoalarm red, due to heavy rain that falls in the southern and central part and the snow in the north.
Cities on the coast are under water, in the north the snow falls, and more roads are closed due to landslides and rainfall. Because of the bad conditions residents of Kolasin, Pljevlja and Plav do not have electricity. From last night in Herceg-Novi fell 135 liters of rain per square meter, in Zabljak there are 102 centimeters of snow.
The rain caused problems in Tivat also. Teams of municipal enterprises have quickly overhaul the consequences and appeal to citizens not to dispose of waste in drains and creeks.
In place Glavatske Kuce, in the municipality of Kotor, the situation is particularly alarming.
In Budva there is a strong storm and about 11 A.M there was a minor landslide in Zavala. Traffic is normalized at the moment.
Roads in Budva and Petrovac are flooded, just like boulevard through Becici. Several apartments in the Velji Vineyards are flooded.
Because of the bad conditions residents of Kolasin, Pljevlja and Plav do not have electricity.
