The Czech Republic will ratify the Accession Protocol of Montenegro with the Alliance in the autumn, confirmed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country Lubomir Zaoralek. He stressed that the Czech Republic supports Montenegro’s integration path since the beginning.
“There will be no problems for the ratification of the Accession Protocol of Montenegro for the Alliance. This is a purely technical matter and there won’t be any problems, because all parties in the CzechRepublic support Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro. I do not know yet the exact date. But I can assure you that everything will be OK and we’ll do the ratification until the autumn,” said Zaoralek for Pobjeda.
Czech Foreign Minister stressed that he was pleased by the success of Montenegro.
“We support Montenegro all the time and I said that yesterday at the NATO summit. Montenegro deserves membership in the Alliance and fast EU membership. As stated in the Declaration of the Summit Montenegro was welcomed as a new member. They expressed expectation that the process of ratification of the Protocol on the accession of Montenegro will be completed in the shortest possible time,” reminded Zaoralek.
He said that the Czech Republic and Montenegro have very long, traditional and friendly relations and that there is a great friendship between the two nations.
