The Democratic Front (DF) has no rational justification for boycotting the presidential elections, bearing in mind that the boycott of the parliament has not yielded the expected results, said the official of the political alliance, Predrag Bulatovic, and called on the opposition to rally around a joint non-party candidate.
Bulatovic recalled that the DF recently decided to return to Parliament at full capacity.
“Among other things, because only the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) had benefits from the boycott of the parliament. Also, the boycott bring benefit for the selfish purposes of a number of parties that did not want to cooperate with us,” Bulatovic told the Mina agency.
As he stated, DF has sent a message to the parliament that the opposition should be as unique as possible and having coordinated actions, although in the past year all political parties rejected them for any kind of communication.
“After participating in the elections in Herceg Novi , the elections in Cetinje and preparations for the Berane elections and everything that was going on, we do not have a rational justification that we can approach the boycott of the presidential elections, bearing in mind that the boycott of the parliament has not yielded the expected results,” Bulatovic said.
