In the explosion that occurred today at the city cemetery Gvozden Brijeg in Bar at noon, gravestones of Luka Djurovic and Andrija Mrdak, late members of a criminal gang, were damaged. According to the information obtained by CDM, the explosives were planted at the tomb of Stojanovic family. Fortunately, no one was injured in the blast.
Luka Djurovic’s tomb was completely destroyed, as well as the Andrija Mrdak’s gravestone, whose tomb is next to Djurovic’s.
However, during the investigation, it was concluded that the explosive were planted on the third grave, where Stojanovic family was buried.
Police suspect that Stojanovic’s tomb was the target of the bomb attack and investigate who the family members were, in order to find the motive for the attack, as well as perpetrators of the criminal act.
Luka Djurovic from Bar, who was considered to be the leader of the criminal gang, died in 2013 in a car accident that occurred near the tunnel Vrmac in Kotor. He was a passenger in a Porsche driven by his female friend.
Andrija Mrdak, a close associate and a friend of Armin Musa Osmanagic, was killed two years ago in front of the gates of the Institute for the Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions (ZIKS) in Spuz where he was with his sister in law Danijela to visit his brother Nenad.
In the “white book”, ie the document “Assessment of the risk of organised crime in Montenegro”, Djurovic was identified as the leader of the most powerful criminal gang in Bar.
