Although people in Montenegro often find public breastfeeding shameful or at least controversial, it seems not to be a taboo for our politicians. Montenegrin media outlets published photos of Anneliese Dodds, , head of delegation of the European Parliament, who nursed her three-month daughter Isabella in the Parliament of Montenegro yesterday.
Dodds said she did not have any problems with our officials because her child was with her during all the meetings of the EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (POSP).
“Mothers of infants have the same dilemma: whether to continue to work or stay at home? For me it was important to be here, so I took Isabella with me because of breastfeeding”, Dodds told reporters at the press conference in the Parliament.
