Relations with Telenor are a reflection of relations between two states and two governments – Montenegrin and Norwegian, said Prime Minister Milo Đukanović during his meeting with Telenor Group delegation, lead by Director General, Sigve Brekke.
Mutual satisfaction with cooperation between Montenegro’s Government and Telenor Group was expressed during the conversation.
“Đukanović congratulated Brekke and the rest of Telenor delegation their celebration of 20 years of business in Montenegro, and said that the Government will continue to contribute to further development of telecommunications market in the country”, it was stated from the Government.
Prime Minister said that he is happy to see that Telenor’s experience in Montenegro was used as a foundation for Telenor being introduced in other countries, and that Telenor was able to find competent people in Montenegro.
He said that MOntenegro will continue to improve its business environment, and that he is happy to continue the cooperation with Telenor, a socially responsible company.
Sigve Brekke, Director General of Telenor Group, said that Montenegro was among the first markets outside of Norway for Telenor, and that he is proud of twenty years of development, investments and progressive services.
He congratulated Prime Minister for the NATO invitation, emphasizing the significance of digitalization, saying that Montenegrin market has potential for even faster growth.
“In order to achieve that, transparency and predictability of business environment must be improved”, Brekke concluded.
