Prime Minister Milo Đukanović is expecting some very favorable news from important international centers. During Miločer Development Forum in Cetinje, he responded to a question whether he will speak next year as a prime minister in a NATO member country, MINA Business reports.

“I think the process will be faster, and my response is – whoever may be the prime minister next year, he will be a prime minister of a NATO member country”, he said.

He said that time has come for a step that will return the dignity to vocations of educational and scientific worker, MINA Business reports.

“The time has come for all of us in Montenegro to realize that there can be no progress without strong economic base that can only be created through acquiring knowledge”, Đukanović said.

He added that the key challenge of Montenegrin politics is rational and sustainable use of resources.

Montenegro already has secured space for development.

Đukanović said that by keeping resources, we can keep salaries of 500 EUR, pensions of 270 EUR and BDP per capita of 6.000 EUR, while in Europe this number is 28.500 EUR.
