BRUSSELS – The European Commission called on the Montenegrin government to start negotiations with opposition parties to speed up the country’s EU accession, Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn said.
Montenegro currently holds formal EU candidacy status.
