Government accepted most of the opposition candidates for positions in state bodies

At today’s session chaired by Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic, the Government of Montenegro has accepted most of the candidates for positions in government bodies proposed by Demos, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and URA Civic Movement on the basis of the agreement on creating conditions for free and fair elections.

Additional consultations on issues related to the participation of the opposition representatives in the social welfare centres in Podgorica, Niksic, Pljevlja, Bijelo Polje, Berane, as well as assistant managers of local finance authorities in Berane and Rozaje, are to be made at the next session, the government decided.

The proposal of the candidate for the inspector general of the National Security Agency (ANB) has been submitted to the ordinary legislative procedure, whereas other proposals from the unique candidates list have been accepted.

This is the list of the opposition representatives, which will get posts in ministries, state administration bodies, funds, agencies, institutions…
