The EU Delegation in Podgorica said they expect the government and the opposition to begin a constructive dialogue in order to overcome the current political situation.
That was the answer to the question of daily ‘ Dan’ about the boycott of parliament and the current political situation in the country.
As the High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini and Commissioner Johannes Hahn repeated several times, the boycott of parliament’s work is not a viable solution.
“We expect the Government and the opposition to begin a constructive dialogue in order to overcome the current political situation,” said the EU Delegation led by Ambassador Aivo Orav.
The opposition boycott of the parliament is undeway since the last year’s parliamentary elections and, according to statements from the opposition parties, it will not be interrupted.
