Greece is willing to concretize its strong support for integration of Montenegro through the exchange of experience and experts, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Nikolaos Kotzias at a meeting with the President of the Montenegrin Parliament Ranko Krivokapic.
Krivokapic expressed his gratitude for all the support and understanding that Greece gives and has given to Montenegro on its Euro-Atlantic path.
Officials emphasized that Montenegro and Greece have traditionally good and intensive friendly relations at all levels, and that there is room for further strengthening which will be used in the future.
Krivokapic, as quoted by his office, met Kotzias with the efforts and results achieved by our country to meet the expectation of an invitation for NATO membership, as well as the integration process to the European Union.
He also underlined the role of the Parliament in these processes, as an institution that “constantly raises its constitutional capacity with the aim of strengthening democracy and the rule of law.”
Kotzias said to Krivokapic that Greece strongly supports our country in Euro-Atlantic integrations, and that Greece is willing and ready to concretize this support through various forms of exchange of experience and experts.
