On the main road Cetinje-Budva in the settlement ‘’Markovici’’ where asphalt collapsed, today there is no ground movements, the head of Budva emergency and rescue services, Zdravko Sljukic said earlier.
To the ‘’Mina’’ news agency, Sljukic said that the teams were on the field from seven o’clock in the morning stating that the situation is much better comparing to Monday.
“Yesterday the situation was bad because of the water that was coming down the hill making the lake and soaking the earth above the village. During afternoon and evening we made canals and the water is no longer a threat to the village and the situation is good, ” Šljukic said.
He said that there were no ground movements today.
‘’ “The machines are working preparing the ground or worksite to remove landslide and the collapsed asphalt. We are working in order to prepare terrain for a new road,’’ Šljukic said .
He said that his team is also making a new path from the upper side for pedestrians who cross from that side to the other side of the road.
Speaking of damaged housed, Sljukic said that one house went down the landslide, the other one is damaged and the third is near the landslide but stayed undamaged.
