Candidate for the president of Socialist People’s Party (SNP) Snezana Jonica said that the party will not cooperate with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), but will work to improve co-operation with the opposition.
She said that if she was elected SNP President at the congress at the session, she would not allow internal party disputes to be resolved through the media.
“The DPS is not in my sight. My view is focused on improving the cooperation of opposition parties in local authorities in which, due to the conflicts of other opposition subjects, the power and quality of its performance have been seriously diminished. SNP in Kotor and Budva sacrificed a lot to achieve the first goal – to deprive of power the DPS . The second goal – the quality performance of the authorities in the interests of all citizens must be achieved on a much higher level.”Jonica told daily Vijesti.
She added that the SNP in Kotor is giving minority support to the opposition for forming the authorities and that “it is now a binding factor that affects the depreciation of conflicts among the coalition partners on a daily basis”.
