Deputy Prime Minister Petar Ivanovic will pay an official visit to China from 16 to 18 June. He is to attend the third Meeting of the Heads of Government of China and 16 Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) organised by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The cooperation Among China and the CEEC, new opportunities, new areas, new space” is the theme of the meeting at which the leaders of China and CEEC would try to mobilise all resources and define priorities for improving cooperation.
“The aim is to improve the mechanisms of cooperation in the fields of economy, technology, education, culture”, the government stated.
The meeting, which is to held in the city of Tangshan (Hebei province), will be attended by senior representatives of China and the CEEC, as well as representatives of local governments of 16+1 countries, representatives of fifteen Chinese provinces, companies and chambers of commerce.
“During the meetings, a platform of cooperation in investment and trade will be established”, the government added.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Ivanovic will have several bilateral meetings.
