The trial of the defendants for attempting terrorism act on the day of parliamentary elections on 16 October last year continued at the high court. The trial is broadcast live on the RTCG Portal and the TVCG First Channel.
Former Serbian special police commander Bratislav Dikic is attending today’s hearing.
In continuation of the trial, one of the defendant, Milos Jovanovic, reiterated that he said to the prosecutor that Aleksandar Sindjelic had mentioned that former Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic would be arrested or possibly killed.
Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoje Katnic said that there was still a detention ground in relation to all defendants.
“I think that there is still a detention ground, because these are foreign citizens, and when released from detention, we consider that they would have some logistical support. Also, there is economy reason, because the procedure would be delayed,” Katnic said.
The proceeding continues at 9 A.M. on Wednesday.
