According to statistical data of the Adriatic Sea Tourism Report, Port Kotor will be visited by more than 4.9 million cruising tourists, which is 3.9 percent increase compared to last year, as well as 3.460 ships, which is 8.3 percent more than last year.
Venice is still the most popular destination with more than 1.5 million tourists and 529 ship arrivals, and then comes Dubrovnik with 880.000 tourists and 629 ship arrivals, it was reported by Radio Kotor.
“With special pleasure we would like to announce that Kotor is on third position with 491.632 tourists and 478 ship arrivals. Continuing the increase of the turnover as well as the quality of the service, “Port Kotor” is consistently confirming its dedication to promotion of Kotor and all of Montenegro as a unique destination in the Mediterranean”, it was said in the statement by Port of Kotor.
Adriatic Sea Tourism Report started in 2013 with providing a yearly document dedicated to full analysis of marine traffic in Adriatic sea, which covers both the vehicles and travelers that are visiting this region.
