Leader of Self Determination movement, Albin Kurti, said that tomorrow’s protest, organised by the movement, would stop the adoption of Parliament’s decision on the demarcation with Montenegro in the same way as establishing Association of Serb Majority Municipalities had been prevented thanks to the opposition’s actions.
At the press conference, Kurti said that the Movement would “confront tomorrow’s decision on the demarcation with Montenegro by all available means”. The decision should be adopted by the Kosovo Parliament.
“We protest peacefully, but we’re upset. That does not mean that we will allow the ratification of agreement which will take more than 8,000 hectares of land from Kosovo and I believe that our protest will be successful and that it will be the end of this government”, Kurti said.
He added that “thanks to the Kosovo’s opposition struggle, Serbia and Montenegro have failed to fulfil their interests” and labelled Kosovo government as pro-Serbian.
“Association of Serb Majority Municipalities could not be established and demarcation cannot be approved thanks to the efforts of the opposition”, he said.
