The High Court in Podgorica adopted the Special State Prosecutor’s Office recommendation that Marko Vujovic from Budva is granted a witness associate status in the proceedings against the defendant Lazar Radjenovic and others for criminal offenses – abuse of office and abuse of official position by helping – that have been done in an organized way .
Vujovic, who is suspected for abuse of office through support, was not available to the competent authorities but he came to Prosecutor’s Office a day before.
“Vujovic is one of the three persons that Special State Prosecutor’s Office issued an order for detention on October 14. On that occasion S.D. was deprived of liberty due to reasonable suspicion that he had committed a criminal offense – abuse of official position by incitement.
Two persons for whose detention was aldo issued a warrant, were not available. Besides Vujovic who voluntarily came to Prosecutor’s Office, as announcement states, the Prosecutor’s Office could not find Milos Marovic due to reasonable suspicion that he had committed a criminal offense – abuse of official position by incitement.
The Prosecution said that Marovic justified his absence and duly informed the Special State Prosecutor’s Office of the reasons for absence.
