Vice president of the government Dusko Markovic said that he believes that the government of electoral trust will accomplish the task of creating conditions for fair elections, but also realize defined strategic goals, primarily regarding European integration of Montenegro.
“We will make necessary efforts for the current political model to succeed, in order to preserve continuity od reforms in current conditions”, emphasized Markovic at today’s meeting with the chief of department for Montenegro in the Directorate of European commission for expansion politics, Dirk Lange.
Lange was interested in realized results in the area of rule of law and macroeconomic reforms, and they also discussed the newly formed government and its activities in fulfilling the tasks from European agenda.
Vice president of the government acknowledged the progress in the area of fight against corruption and organized crime.
“Basic task of the institutions for implementation of the law is contribution to the balance of results within their jurisdiction, and my estimation is that necessary capacity in these institutions is reached on a daily basis, and that they are operating successfully”, said the vice president.
Both parties agreed that one of the priorities of this government is also work on adopting the Strategy for reform of public administration, and that its implementation will have strong reform, administrative and fiscal effects.
The discussion was also attended by chief of Delegation of European union in Podgorica, Mitja Drobnic.
