After the hearing in private hospital Codra in Podgorica, the Special Prosecutor ordered detention for up to 72 hours, his lawyer Ydravko Begovi’ confirmed to our portal. He said that Milos Marovic will spend detention in a private room in the hospital instead of in the security center Podgorica.
“His health condition requires that he remains in the hospital. Taking into considearation medical reports, the prosecutor reached a humain decision to retain Marovic at the hospital.’’ Begovic explained.
Begovic said that Marovic arrived in Montenegro last night, and that he immediately informed the prosecution about that.
Special Prosecution issued a month ago the arrest warrant for Marovic, who is, along with 8 other persons, suspected for the abuse of official position during the sale of 26,000 square meters of non urbanized land in Budva.
