Montenegrin got artificial heart


Doctors of the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG), in cooperation with the Croatian colleagues from KBC “Rebro” in Zagreb, in early August this year have been successfully implanted artificial heart to patient from Montenegro.

KCCG announces that the patient has stable vital parameters, that he feels good and is successfully recovering in hospital in Zagreb.

In this demanding cardiac intervention, as it was stated, our team of doctors was equally involved as their colleagues from Zagreb.

“Heart pump was implemented by cardiac surgeons doctor Aleksandar Nikolic, head of the Center for Cardiac Surgery of Clinical Centre of Montenegro and his colleagues from Zagreb Bojan Biocina, Hrvoje Gasparovic and Mate Petricevic.
