Protests against NATO can not change the fact that Montenegro is almost already a full member of the Alliance and that the Montenegrin Parliament will soon ratify that decision, said President of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro, Savo Kentera.
Kentera spoke at a conference of NATODefenseCollege which is being held in Rome. The conference is focussed on security and stability of the Balkans, the rule of rights, the fight against organized crime, terrorism and many other issues.
Asked to comment anti-NATO protests to be held in Podgorica on Saturday, Kentera said that the protest is democratic right of every citizen as long as it take place peacefully and in accordance with the law.
“Protest will not change the fact that Montenegro is almost already a full member of NATO and that the Parliament of Montenegro will soon ratify that decision,” Kentera concluded.
