The process of accession to NATO is a challenge that requires the continuation of reforms in all areas, and Montenegro will support Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European and Euro-Atlantic path, it has been said at the meeting of delegation members of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and members of the Board for security and defense of the Montenegrin Parliament.
At the meeting, they exchanged information and views on the status of Euro-Atlantic integration of the Western Balkan region, and one of the topics discussed was the spring session of the NATO, which will be held from 27 to 30 May in Tirana, with the participation of the two delegations.
During the meeting, members of the two delegations, the Deputy Chairman of the Security and Defense Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro Snežana Jonica and Committee members, Obrad Mišo Stanišić, Luigj Ljubo Škrelja and Darko Pajovic, informed the guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina that the foreign ministers of NATO member states, unanimously decided that Montenegro should be invited to become a full member of the Alliance, on the meeting held on 2 December last year.
