PM Djukanovic takes part in Western Balkan Six meeting in Brussels. Russia tends to destabilize Montenegro through the church, the opposition and some NGOs. Montenegro and Albania to boost infrastructural cooperation.
Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic said that Brussels’ meeting speaks of the Western Balkan’s dedicated and accelerated work on boosting connectivity, which will result in strengtening internal stability and competitiveness of the region, encouraging growth and creation of new jobs. “Infrastructural connectivity will bring economic growth and create new opportunities, and, at the same time, it will reduce migratory pressure on EU borders,” Djukanovic stated at the meeting of heads of government of the Western Balkan Six in Brussels.
Russian pressure on Montenegro is going through numerous structures, from the Serbian Orthodox Church, the opposition party and some non-governmental organizations, Montenegrin Foreign Minister Igor Luksic said during a recent visit to Berlin. Luksic’s accusations against Moscow revealed confidential dispatches by the Montenegrin embassy in Berlin.
Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and his Albanian counterpart Edi Rama met on Tuesdy in Brussels for talks on strengthening cooperation related to joint infrastructural projects. The two officials voiced their support to the implementation of the joint project of the Adriatic- Ionian highway, the Skadar Lake and River Bojana.
