Zvornik’s attack warns the entire Western Balkans region. Cetinje Parliamentary Forum promotes reconciliation in the region. Romania pledges strong support to Montenegro’s NATO.
The terrorist attack in Bosnia and Herzegovina warns that it is necessary that the Bosnian institutions act decisively when it comes to the threat of terrorism, because the virus can be spread to other countries, the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Security and Defencem Mevludin Nuhodzic has warned.
Countries in the region have been able to fix some of the mistakes from the past, said the Montenegro Parliament Speaker Ranko Krivokapic at the opening of the Cetinje Parliamentary Forum on Tuesday, stating that he hoped that the “time of insanity” will be replaced by the period of full security. “We gain strength from these meetings and encourage each other by sharing the experiences. We enable the region to perform their historic role better,” he said.
Montenegro Defence Minister Milica Pejanovic Djurisic met in Bucharest with his Romanian counterpart Mircea Dusa who commended Montenegro’s reforms towards achieving its strategic objectives, stressing importance of the participation of Montenegro’s military in international missions and operations. Montenegrin minister also met with Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu who reiterated his strong support for Montenegro’s NATO bid and stressed his country’s willingness to keep this issue on NATO’s agenda.
