Montenegro works hard to join NATO, the government’s official says. Parliamentary Legislative Committee supports the Bill on Financing of Political Parties. Montenegro starts simultaneous analogue and digital programe broadcasting.
Montenegro is committed to meeting the criteria for membership in the Alliance and it is on the right track, which is being confirmed by the partners in the alliance, although more work need to be done, said the national coordinator for NATO, Nebojsa Kaljuderovic.
Parliamentary Legislative Committee supported on Monday the Bill on Financing of Political Parties and Electoral Campaigns, nominated by deputies of the ruling coalition, as well as the amendments to the Law on Civil Servants and Employees and on Labor, proposed by the opposition Democratic Front. “The most important thing is that we specifically retained the part related to the financing of election campaigns, both by political subjects and candidates for president, while special attention was directed to the provisions concerning restrictions on the employment durnig the campaigns”, the MP Draginja Vuksanovic said.
Simultaneous analogue and digital programe broadcasting in Montenegro officially started on Monday and will last until 17 June, when the analogue TV signal will be turned off and replaced with a digital one, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Information Society and Telecommunications Vujica Lazovic said in a press statement.
