Italy to continue supporting reform process in Montenegro. Montenegrin scientists to participate in CERN’s researches. Advisor Kojicic discusses in Belgrade preparation of third IDAHO ministerial forum
Montenegro’s government pledges commitment to strengthening responsibility, trust and security in the regional context, through carrying out a wide range of activities in combating organised crime, corruption and terrorism, Minister of the Interior Rasko Konjevic highlighted at the ministerial conference in Rome, which marked the start of the regional project “IPA 2013 Western Balkans”. Minister Angelino Alfano underlined that the Italian Ministry of the Interior will continue supporting the reform process in Montenegro and advocating for the EU enlargement policy.
Montenegro’s Science Minister Sanja Vlahovic visited the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, CERN, at the invitation of director of the prestigious scientific institution Rolf Heuer. The meeting focused on concrete collaboration through defining a 5-year cooperation protocol concerning the involvement of Montenegro’s scientists in projects the CERN is currently working on and attending of training programmes at this institution.
With a view to promoting and preparing the 3th IDAHO Forum at the ministerial level, which will be hosted by Montenegro from 10 – 12 May 2015, Adviser to the Prime Minister Jovan Kojicic met in Belgrade with representatives of the government of Serbia, embassies of the Netherlands and Norway, as well as civil society organisations dealing with issues of protecting and promoting rights of LGBT persons.
