Former lawmakers received 25,000 euros compensation; bankruptcy procedures started in 630 companies last year; ruling party, the Democratic Party of Socialists, DPS, to resolve misunderstandings with ethnic Albanian parties.
The Parliament of Montenegro has paid 25 thousand euros in compensation to former MPs last year , due the rotation in the of the parliamentary caucuses. Under the Law on Civil Servants and Employees, all former members of the parliament have the right to one year compensation after they leave the seats.
Last year, the Commercial Court in Podgorica introduced bankruptcy in 630 companies, in 469 cases the decision became final. According to the Central Bank data, out of total 63.5 thousand enterprises and entrepreneurs in the country, 13.9 thousand were blocked over 486.7 million euros debts.
Political director of the rulling Democratic Party of Socialists, Tarzan Milosevic, has said all disadvantages in the coaltion agreement with Albanian political parties will be eliminated soon. Representative of the Albanian party Forca, Genci Nimanbegu, said that previous realization of the coalition agreement with the DPS was not satisfactory.
