Montenegrin Central Bank claims country’s financial system is stable. Smaller ruling SDP wants out of governing coalition. Slovakia to assist Montenegro EU-NATO bid.
The financial system is stable and there is a moderate level of systemic risk, the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro concluded at the meeting chaired by the Governor Miloica Dakic. The council has also discussed the elements of the legal defining maximum interest rate and decided to continue the work on this activity.
Smaller governing Social Democratic Party, SDP, must act on it own in the coming parliamentary elections, the party’s vice president Rifat Rastoder said. He stressed that has always been for it and that his party need to strengthen its own performance in the elections.
Slovakia will continue to strongly support Montenegro on its integration path through a wide range of specific activities related to the Alliance, EU and assistance in reforms, especially when it comes to the requirements agenda in the immediate period, Slovakian Deputy Prime Minister Miroslav Lajcak said.
