Judge Milivoje Katnic runs for the special prosecutor for organized crime office. Montenegro’s accession to NATO to stabilize the Balkans. Attacks on journalists priority for prosecution, the chief prosecutor says.
Judge of the Appellate Court, Milivoje Katnic, is the main pretender for the office of the Special Prosecutor because he enjoys the confidence of the Chief State Prosecutor Ivica Stankovic. Katnic has confirmed that he submitted the documents on the ad of the Prosecutorial Council, which is closed on Monday at midnight.
The Supreme State Prosecutor, Ivica Stankovic, said thet murder of the daily Dan’s editor-in-chief Dusko Jovanovic is one of the priorities fo the prosecutor’s office, and will do everything solve that case.
Former MEP Jelko Kacin said that accession of Montenegro to NATO would stabilise the Western Balkans. He believes that it is of enormous importance for Kosovo, Serbia and Bosnia, and Macedonia also, because official Podgorica, with its strategic decisions, has become extremely important for entire region.
